About Us
The Farmington Bath and Tennis Club was founded in 1976, when Kildeer residents opened the club at its current location along Long Grove Road. What began as a neighborhood effort has grown into a welcoming summer destination for families from Barrington, Hawthorn Woods, Lake Zurich, Arlington Heights, Palatine, and surrounding communities.

Originally conceived by developer Arthur T. Macintosh, the club first opened in 1968 with a pool and two tennis courts. It moved next door in 1976 to accommodate a growing membership while preserving its original clubhouse and pool.

Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, Farmington provides a relaxed summer setting featuring a heated 25-yard pool, baby pool, both hard and clay tennis courts, a pavilion, playground, and a variety of recreational amenities. For nearly 50 years, the club has been recognized for its strong aquatics and tennis programs, welcoming swimmers and players of all ages and skill levels.
