The Place to be for over 40 Years

The Farmington Bath and Tennis Club began back in July of the 1976 Bicentennial year. A group of Kildeer's Farmington residents opened the club's doors at its current location along Long Grove Road. What was started by a handful of residents remains a place where neighbors can take a refreshing swim, enjoy a casual game of tennis and sometimes just get together for a few laughs.

The club was conceived by Arthur T.Macintosh, a Farmington land developer. Its original site opened in 1968 with a pool and two tennis courts behind a small house along Long Grove Road, which neighbors the club's current location.

In 1976, we moved the club next door to create more room for our growing community, " explained Cindy Milford, a Kildeer resident since 1972. "Although throughout the years many amenities were added, the club house and pool remain the same, and now we have many more family-friendly elements."

The Farmington Bath and Tennis Club offers families, a casual, relaxed atmosphere for summer activities. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the club features a 25-yard, four-lane, heated pool with a diving board, gated baby pool, four clay and two hard surface tennis courts, screened-in pavilion, playground, basketball and volleyball courts and locker room facilities.

In its forty years, Farmington Bath & Tennis Club has developed extensive aquatics and tennis programs. Swimming lessons, the Farmington Flyers Swim and Dive Team, tennis lessons and teams for all levels are instructed by an accredited coaching staff.
